The heinous attack orchestrated by Hamas terrorists shattered the lives of thousands of Israeli families. Over 400 have endured compounded trauma that exceeds the capabilities of current support systems. In response, the Israeli Children’s Fund - Atufim Be‘Ahava (ICF) was established by Israeli tech and business leaders and representatives from the impacted communities. Their shared mission is to ensure these children do not face the daunting task of rebuilding their lives alone.
When I was in Israel recently, I had the opportunity to meet with leaders from this organization, and I can personally attest that the work they are doing will have a lasting impact on so many. I hope you can join me to learn more about their efforts and will consider supporting them whether you can participate or not. We know that you get solicited often and there are certainly so many important organizations to support, but as I think about immediate needs and impactful contributions, the ICF is one we are personally committed to supporting, and I hope you will join us. We like the fact that they have very low overhead, and almost all funds go to a finite goal, which is ensuring that these children have the support they need not just today, but also as they grow through adolescence.
About the Israel Children’s Fund
ICF empowers these children by providing essential financial resources, personal growth opportunities, and nurturing adult networks. This support enables them to navigate their profound loss and realize their full potential. Additionally, ICF leverages Israel's tech community to streamline access to information and opportunities, enhancing support systems and creating a lasting impact. The ICF operates in close collaboration with government agencies and NGOs to provide comprehensive support.
ICF supports 412 children between the ages 0-25. The fund is designed to operate for 25 years providing all entitled support to each child. Once this clear and finite mission is accomplished, the fund will be dissolved.
